Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

N5 Studio is an independent web design and AI agency based in Rockford, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit n5studio.com or submit a form, how we use it, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form (free audit, contact, intro call request) we collect the fields you submit: name, business name, phone number, email address, current website URL, and any notes you write.

Information collected automatically. When you load a page we collect standard web request data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to keep the site working, prevent abuse, and understand which pages are useful.

Cookies and similar tech. We set a small number of cookies and localStorage values: a first-visit flag for the loading screen, session cookies from Vercel hosting, and analytics cookies from the third parties listed below.

3. Third-party tools we use

We use these vendors to run the site and measure ad performance. Each receives a limited slice of your data per their own privacy policies.

• Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.)If you visit n5studio.com after clicking a Facebook or Instagram ad, or if you submit a form, we send Meta a record of the event (page view, lead submission, phone click). This is used to measure ad performance and improve ad targeting. Meta may match this against your Facebook or Instagram identity. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC).We use GA4 to count visitors, understand which pages perform, and measure conversions (form submissions, phone clicks). GA4 uses cookies and collects pseudonymous identifiers. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Vercel (hosting and analytics). Vercel hosts the site and collects basic performance data (Core Web Vitals) and request logs. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
• Resend (transactional email).When you submit a form we use Resend to deliver an auto-reply confirmation to your email and an internal notification to us. Your email passes through Resend’s mail servers.
• Groq (AI chat responses).The chatbot on our homepage uses Groq’s API to generate replies. Messages you send are forwarded to Groq for inference and are not used to train models.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry, audit your site, and follow up about working together.
• Send you the auto-confirmation email after you submit a form.
• Measure how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.
• Measure ad performance and optimize Meta and Google ad campaigns.
• Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. We do not sell your personal information

N5 Studio does not sell your personal information. We do share limited event data with Meta and Google for advertising measurement as described in Section 3, which may be considered “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” under some state laws.

6. Your rights (California / CCPA + similar)

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or another US state with comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you.
• Request a copy of that information.
• Request that we delete it.
• Request that we correct inaccurate information.
• Opt out of having your data shared with Meta or Google for cross-context advertising.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@n5studio.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us what you want done. We respond within 30 days.

To opt out of ad measurement:use your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal, install an extension like uBlock Origin, or email us to be added to our suppression list.

7. How long we keep your data

Form submissions are stored in our database for as long as we actively work with you, then archived for up to 24 months after our last contact. Analytics data retention is governed by GA4’s and Meta’s default retention windows (typically 14 to 26 months). Resend retains email logs for 90 days.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all pages, store form submissions on Vercel Postgres with encryption at rest, and limit access to lead data to the founder. No system is perfectly secure. If we experience a breach involving your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add new tools or our practices change. The “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent update. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
