What does $99 a month for a website actually cover?

Short answer: $99 a month covers a custom five-page site, your domain, hosting, lead tools and changes within 48 hours. Here's the plain list, and what isn't in it.

What's included

• Small updates within 48 hours, as often as you need

• A monthly report, and you can cancel anytime with a full export

What's not included

Text messaging isn't in this plan. Missed-call text-back and lead texts need a local number and carrier registration for each client, so they live in the Plus plan at $179 a month, along with AI answering on missed calls.

Online payments, a booking system with a dashboard, or a custom tool are built to order. I scope them first and quote them before I build anything, so you always know the number before you're billed. Happy Tails and FunSkis are examples of that kind of build.

What it replaces

If you bought the pieces separately, you'd be paying for hosting, a domain, someone to make small changes, a form that sends you leads and probably a review tool. Each one has its own login and its own bill. The point of the monthly is that it's one bill and one person.

What there is to know about the commitment
